Three-phase pi-model transmission line training bench

Training bench designed and manufactured by GENIE TECHNICS for the experimental study of power transmission lines and transformers. It reproduces, at laboratory scale and at 400 V, an overhead line modelled as three pi sections in series, together with its transformers, reactive power compensation, adjustable loads and fault module. The complete single-line diagram is screen printed on the front panel and every measuring point is available on 4 mm safety sockets. The test area is fed through an isolating transformer, so an earth fault can be studied safely. Voltages and currents are acquired digitally and compared with simulation.
